I've only had the FitBit Inspire 3 for a few days and I am mostly satisfied.. however, the criticisms I do have reflect poorly on the mentality on the developers themselves and not the device.
First, the premium service offers very little for the price, as other users have repeated. I should not be charged to view the data that the app collects from me. Google likely profits off of this data anyways. It's a slap in the face to be charged doubly for our own data. Shame on Google and Fitbit.
Second, the clock faces are wretched. There is only one clockface which allows a persistent heart-rate or pedometer. None have both. The rest are poorly configured permutations of the clock widget, with the majority featuring the "zone" minutes, which is so disappointing. Why is the feature I use the most almost completely un-customizable? Why were the devs so short-sighted? Do they not use the product, or do they just not care? Anyone wearing these devices wants to be able to see their heart-rate, steps, time, and date at a quick glance. Not one or the other. The only clockface that shows the heartrate and time is so poorly done. It shouldn't be called "Playful" it should be called "Dreadful." No date. No steps, just enormous numbers and a heart that gets comically big when your heart-rate is elevated. We don't want to cycle through multiple parameters.. make it customizable. This would at least entice me to keep my premium (even though this should be a given feature). The default "Highlight" is honestly the only clockface that is even usable. Do better.

Over the last year, I have actually really enjoyed the video content of FitBit Premium...almost daily doing different videos to suit my mood, exercise needs, etc. I had renewed my Premium membership just days before the "upgrade". With the "upgrade", I have been completely unable to access any of the videos or Premium content. My 'coach' tab is blank, although that is where they videos/premium content are supposed to be. So, given the now inaccessible features PLUS what we say above, I too plan to cancel my subscription!
