Will Changing Trackers Affect Premium Free Trial

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased a new Inspire 2 and am eligible for  the  Free 1 year Premium trial. Now I have been gifted a new Sense. If I change trackers will I be able to still use the free trial? I will give the Inspire to my daughter. PLEASE NOTE- I am not trying to game the system and abuse the free trial. I just want to be able to use the trial myself with a new tracker. I don't expect to give the trial to someone else.

Basically. Once  activated is the trial linked to my account or to a specific tracker?

Thank you!

Hi, @JanW75,

I am 99% sure the trial is linked to your account, not to your device. When I have switched device, I haven't had to do anything with my premium subscription. I can't see why it shouldn't be the same with your trial.

Thank you! That is exactly what happened. No change to the premium trial, even when I changed trackers

@LokeAa Thank you for your assistance on the post.

@JanW75 Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Glad to hear that you received a Fitbit Sense.

I was able to see that you have a case with our Support team, please continue the communication through email, they'll be happy to continue assisting you.

Just to let anyone else know, even when you change your Fitbit tracker, the Premium trial that was activated with Inspire 2 or Sense will still be linked to your account and it will expire in 12 months or 6 depending on the tracker that you have.

Have a good rest of the week.
