Battery life not lasting

Why does the Flex have battery issues and connectivity failures routinely?

The battery life has never been great as it is such a small size anyway but occasionally it seems to flatten within hours so it doesn’t last the day.
It also sometimes doesn’t connect to my iPad or iPhone at all which is annoying as daily steps are not counting to app.
I have always had a One as well so have both in my pocket at work as I cannot wear a watch while at work but sometimes both of them fail on same day so I end up with no steps recorded at all.

Hi @Pissedoff1milli, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Let me share with you that the battery of our Flex 2 was designed to last 5 days, but this also depends on how frequently you use all the features of your device. That said, I recommend you charging your Fitbit device with a USB port from a computer or a UL-certified outlet into the wall and then turn off all the features that you don’t use that much.

After following the above information, please check this help article for more tips and recommendations. This article includes as restart process that will refresh the device's performance.

In regards the connection difficulties, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Please try the steps from our help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I’ll be right here if you need anything else.
