my strap has broken and luckily i just caught it as it fell off my wrist, looks like bad moulding to me (been in the trade for years so know what im on about).
Hope i can get a replacement as only four months old.
Will be in contact with customer service after weekend to get a replacement hopefully.

I have had a Fitbit2 for years and each year the strap breaks
last year I bought a leather strap in hopes it would, WRONG
poor design to say the least,
over and over, No More!!!
tired of spending over a $100 for a strap that lasts mere months
loyalty to a product is based on loyalty to the customer, which by the way is non existence
even the sales clerk said that she no longer has a Fitbit because of the cost of the straps over and over again
Pity, loved the Fitbit, but the strap is beyond frustration and cost 👎

I have the Charge 4, and both sides of the strap broke within 18 months. It's currently held together with duct tape, and I'm pretty unhappy that I have to pay $37.50 (including tax and the cheapest shipping) to fix it. There are cheaper straps available on Amazon, but the reviews look fake, so there's a risk of wasting an extra $9 there. I don't do heavy sports and haven't put the Fitbit under heavy stress. I wish the straps were sturdier.
