When I go on my daily walks, I use the exercise option to map where I have walked and tabulate stats such as half mile times and calories used per segment. My app is set to give me audio updates as I progress. I noticed, yesterday and to day that my calories used totals were wildly high, when I completed and finalized my exercise. Today, for example, I walked 3.74 miles, getting an audio update of 46 calories burned each 1/2 mile which should come out to 344+ calories burned for the exercise. However, the app returns some 617 calories burned. I can’t say at this time if the daily total of calories burned is off by the same factor. Any ideas as to why? Is it something I’m doing, or some value I can adjust to correct this?

You might want to ask this is what ever app you are using forum. As Flex does not have the exercise option. So this has to do with the app and its not a fitbit problem
