My Fitbit flex is no longer syncing to my app. It has not been able to sync for about 2 weeks now. It continues to track, because the dots light up and it vibrates when I have hit 10,000 steps but I can’t sync to my app to see how many steps, sleep, minutes active, when I need to charge it, etc. The app is updated and I have restarted my phone, and turned Bluetooth off and on. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Hi @Carrollam Try restarting the Flex a couple of times. Hopefully that will fix it. If not, try THIS Help Article on syncing problems.

Thank you! I have never had to restart my tracker before, but this worked. Even loaded most of my past data.
Best AnswerThis is happening on both my Android and my iOS device. I called Fitbit and they said it was my Android device, which is a Pixel 3A, but it is also happening on my iPad mini. I cannot get it to sync at all anymore on my Pixel, and twice this week I had to uninstall and reinstall the app on my iPad. Now it only sinks on my iPad when I refresh it. I have unpaired and repaired it and put it back on the charger and reset it several times.
Best AnswerHi @NellyG
@how do you restart the flex? The article on your answer says do not insert a pin to restart as it will damage the flex.
I have a similar issue but my flex is stuck on searching on the app. It does track steps and lights up fine.
Best AnswerHi @ @Geets10
I have tried to answer your question so many times I am fed up! Not your fault, but the forum won't let me quote what you have to do, so you'll have to put up with my paraphrased version!
You should never put an pin into a hole on your tracker. If you have a flex, however you put a pin into the hole on the charging cradle, not the actual tracker. If you follow the link I gave above and select 'Other Trackers' it will give you the full details of how to do it. If you have a flex 2 you use the button on the charging cradle. Please come back if you continue to have problems and I'll try to answer more fully (too frustrated at the moment!)

I refresh it by pushing the button when it is in the charging cable. Has not fixed the issue.
Best AnswerHi again @Geets10 try uninstalling the app from your phone, then turn bluetooth off on the phone, restart the phone, turn bluetooth back on (don't try to pair the tracker from the bluetooth page). Then reinstall the Fitbit app and log back in and try syncing again. If still no good, then try THIS help article on syncing problems. Good luck 😀

Best AnswerIf I turn off the Bluetooth On my other device I can get it to sync sometimes, but I am still getting the message that it can’t sync my flex 2 occasionally. I have tried all the methods above.
Best AnswerThank you so much This actually worked. 🙂
