I have a fitbit flex that I haven't used in a while. When I try to connect it just says connect a dongle, but doesn't react when I do that. What do I do now?? I have a Mac....

Hi @clarissimo you'll need a compatible phone or tablet to use your Flex. Fitbit discontinued the Fitbit Connect app and use of the dongle earlier last month. click to see compatible devices

This means that our flex cannot be synched especially since the app is not able to communicate with the flex?

Hi @platypus007 without a compatible device (phone or tablet) to use the app, you can't sync.

Not fair--I paid for a fitbit device that I now can't sync with my computer. Logging my steps help me earn healthcare dollars at work--I've now been cheated out of those dollars since I don't currently have a phone or tablet.

@rdneeds if you have a friend or family member with a compatible phone or tablet who would let you use it to sync, it should keep you going. You don't need to use the phone to talk or text, just to connect to wi-fi to sync. Any tablet with the minimum requirements should work, too.

@rdneeds If you have a home wireless network, you can use a wi-fi only tablet and don’t have to pay money on a phone plan. I have a wi-fi only iPad and have the Fitbit app on it.
