Leaving Fitbit

It is a sad day.  I have used my Fitbit Flex since October 2013.  It is still the original one that I was given by my daughter for my birthday.  I have done millions of steps and thousands of miles on the Flex.  I didn’t care much for the band however; I was use to it.  I didn’t want any of the new Fitbit products because I don’t want a watch that I have to charge every few days.  It defeated the purpose of constantly wearing a watch in my opinion so I kept my Flex because it worked and it tracked my steps which is what I wanted.  Then the Motiv and Oura rings came out and I like the concept of wearing a ring that wasn’t bulky like the Flex on my wrist and it would track my steps and also keep track of my sleep and heartbeat too (Flex keeps track of the sleep).  So, I was excited about the smaller form device that would track my steps.  I watched and watched for news of Fitbit developing a ring however; they didn’t develop one so I purchase myself a ring from one of the companies above.  It is a shame that Fitbit lost a loyal follower.  I have bought Fitbit for my family and I had always recommended Fitbit to others.  I reckon that I had moved on because Fitbit didn’t hear the requests from their customers for a ring because I have read several posts about requesting a ring.  Thank you for the tracking of my steps and a great product.

There have been discussions on forums about requesting a ring.  The ring can last for 6 to 7 days on a charge.  It is a little bigger than a normal band ring.  It measures the other info.
