Syncing difficulties after Fitbit app update

My flex 2 has stopped syncing after update. Please help

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. If you're experiencing syncing difficulties, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Since the update to version 3.15 on IOS my activities are synced but the time of my activity is 8 hours earlier than the activity was. I also notice that my activities have no GPS data or calorie information.

Hi I'm also having this issue on my flex 2, I have tried restarting my phone, resetting my fitbit, syncing via a pc, uninstaling the apps and reinstalling, turning Bluetooth off and on, and haven't been able to get my fitbit to sync for 3 days. It's been playing up since its last update and now has stopped syncing all together. I know it's working as it still vibrates and flashes lights at me when it's supposed to. Are there any other suggestions you may have to try and get it to sync?

There has just been another update to the app a few hours ago.

I'm hoping that fixed it.

I was under the impression it was phone specific so I tried another phone to get the same problem there as well. It is definitely an irritating problem I have seen a whole day missed in the sync for some unknown reason even when the battery was fully charged

I managed to get mine to work by removing the flex 2 from my account on the app and reconnecting. It took forever to reconnect and failed about 5 times before working. And it will now sync but the steps aren't added to my challenges. Really annoying that this seems to happen every time the app is updated.

I was travelling when I was unable to sync my flex 2 to my account. Since the time I have reached home the device connected without a problem and all my data synced. I have recently started seeing this happen every four days or so when the battery goes below 30% I am not sure if there is connection but it has started working for me now.

I updated my phone to IOS app version 3.16 and everything is working as it used to.

I chatted with Fitbit the other day and they assured me they were aware and working on the problem. But they gave me no time frame for the fix. Mine hasn’t tracked activities correctly since feb 23. I just bought my 85 year old mother a knock off version of the versa. It works great for a 1/3 of the price. I think I’m gonna buy one of those and forget about my older Flex 2. It’s a shame that they can’t get their updates working for all Fitbit devices before rolling them out.
