My mum's fitbit flex 2 is not consistently syncing to her amazon fire tablet. Some nights it does not register that she has slept and exercise/steps she does do not consistently sync either. I have tried re-installing the app and rebooting the fitbit but neither have helped. Any ideas?

Hi @J-Rose19, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.
First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this syncing concern prior to posting. Just as our friend @Odyssey13 shared on her post, the Amazon Fire tablet it's not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you can experience certain connection difficulties with it.
Even though your device it's not compatible, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on the mobile device that's preventing the syncing process to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
If you continue experiencing syncing difficulties, please try with a compatible mobile device or a computer instead just as suggested before.
Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you both for your replies. We have installed the fitbit app on my mum's android phone and this was syncing fine for a few days and then was not recognising sleep or steps. It then said it was not recognising device, so I unpaired it and it will not not pair. The fitbit is fully charged and lights are showing if I tap it.
