I'm a runner, I finally fell in love with running so MapMyFitness is great because I log runs and it syncs with Fitbit, but also all types of workouts 🙂

Hi there @TammYoga it sounds interesting, I'll look for it, regarding workout apps compatible with your Fitbit profile, have you checked out FitStar? I bet you'll like it

Is anyone using the 7Minute Workout app? It would be nice if it was one of the apps that linked Fitbit app. What Fitbit linked app is your favorite?
My favorite linked app is the Walgreens app. I earn up 1000 points each month. I'm at 6600 points. The points are worth a little more the longer they accumulates.

I've tried a lot of workout apps and services, but I keep coming back to the Johnson and Johnson Original or Official 7 Minute workout app. https://7minuteworkout.jnj.com/
Reasons: it is not just a 7 Minute workout app: that's only the beginner intro. It has 22 canned workouts, ranging from 1 cycle of 7 minutes to 3 cycles totalling 24 minutes - or 1 cycle of 36 exercises totalling 24 minutes (no repetition). You can craft your own workout, from 72 different exercises. But so far I mainly use their "Smart Workout", which is slowly advancing me through workouts adjusting accordingto how I find them hard or not. It records which exercises I like/dislike - which I need because an old shoulder injury makes some too painful to do.
This app syncs with Apple Health: my workouts, type ad duration, appear in the ecords.
But: it does not sync with FitBit.
😞

I love using the Seven_ 7 minute workout app. Sad that it doesn't sync with my fit bit charger.

I have 3 apps I use, My Fitness Pal, Fitbit and 7 minute workout. 7 minute and Fitbit both work nicely with MFP, but 7 min and Fitbit do not connect directly.
I really liked 7 minute as I am a large girl just re-entering the fitness arena. The custom work outs allowed me to pick exercises I knew I could manage and could execute in my very limited work out space (i.e. low ceilings = no jumping jacks). It was also a really small commitment to start and much less intimidating than other options. And all this in a free app.
I've been pleased with the quality of the app. It is clean, simple to use. The instructor/instructions are clear and easy to follow.
I'd recommend it.

I’m not familiar with the 7 Minute Workout, nor with the underlying app, but even if the app doesn’t connect with Fitbit, it doesn’t mean you’re missing out on anything (from the point of view of Fitbit). Fitbit is capable of picking up the intensity of your workout via your HR, your hand moves etc. on its own. Besides, nothing prevents you from logging the workout on your Fitbit (if supported by your particular model).
Just be aware that for things like active minutes, there’s a duration threshold that may not be exceeded if your workouts only last for 7 minutes at a time.

@MiVidaLoca The Fitbit exercises should load to your exercise tab on your dashboard. Mine have in the past. I will go check out the 7 minute one again and let you know
