Away from home computer and want to sync to laptop

I'm away from my home computer and want to sync my FitBit One on my laptop. The laptop won't recongnize the dongle. Why?

 

How do I set up the laptop to sync as well?

Have you gone through all the download/install steps? Go to fitbit.com and follow setting up a device and use your existing account at that step. I have several devices set up to sync my fitbits (I have an ultra and my son has a flex). In each case I had to run the set up/download parts and log in with the correct account to get the program installed on that computer.

Thanks for the quick response. 

 

I just realized that I don't have the Dongle connected... left that in my computer at home. Will have to remember to take with me when I go on holidays. I'll try set up when I get home.

 

Hopefully, it will keep daily activity in storage while I gone this week.
