Mine are kinda silly....I belong to a very small gym, I go early in the morning, 6:30, normally it's just myself, and two other girls, and a couple of guys, we pretty much know each other. That being said, I have a slight anixiety issue and having 3 new woman come in during the time I go to the gym kinda freaks me out. I start to panic that the only two shower stalls that work well won't be available, or the machine that I like to use won't be free, all of this is ridiculous, but it doesn't stop my me from worrying about it. But this morning I was able to do my 25min C25K run and didn't freak out, score 1 for me, lol.
My 2nd is, Along w/the anxiety I like most of the planet don't care to make a fool out of myself doing something new. But last week I started a new glute routine doing exercises I've never done before, and I didn't care if I looked like a fool reading my print-outs on how to do them properly.

@Joylyn126 awesome job! Consistency is key, and it seems like what you're doing is really working for you so far.
@Skyerules even small accomplishments are important. Although they don't seem like a big deal, they could very likely be a big deal to someone else! The gym can definitely be intimidating, but I've found that going with a friend or workout partner makes me feel more comfortable there.

I actually went out and got a gym membership, after an AWFUL experience with my last gym. This one is locally owned, smaller, friendlier, and all around better than the 'big kid on campus' in my province.
In addition to being at the gym 5/7 days, I also made it to all of my kickboxing classes since Christmas, helping me to drop 3 pounds in the past week!
Keep it up, everyone!

I don't know if it's "awesome"? but I've lost 10 lbs in 5 weeks with my first fitbit. I had no clue how helpful it would be to have the dashboard in front of my face to be able to SEE what I was doing every day. 10 lbs was my goal for this Spring!(not one month!) I'm sleeping better, feeling like I'm on a happy pill, and my cloths fit without making me look like a stuffed sausage anymore. For me personally that's a huge accomplishment. The best part is my 12K steps a day average has worked into an every day routine/habit for me. I'm 62 and retired and can do it all at home with my dog or just walking around my garden and house that's become my new "track", haha. Rain or shine, constant now,I'm out there and Love it!!!

I lost 5 pounds since november(not a huge accomplishment but it has been for me since I started working out consistently everyday for a month).
I also hit over 8k this morning and hit 4.26 miles in three work outs this morning.

LOL. Too funny @FitinNWPA. BTW, you can edit your previous posts if you come to the community on a computer, OR, if you go to the bottom of the page on your iPad and choose "Full" instead of "Mobile."

Started to see the first results from dieting and also going to the gym. I've been always going to the gym on and off, just to keep myself fit & healthy, but never had I used a diet to acomplish results. It's the third week I am doing so, and I can really tell that diet is 75% of being fit & muscular. Will keep pushing and see what's around the next corner!
Also, congrats to all of you! Every accomplishement is a step forward in being a better self.

It's not a huge accomplishment, but I'm proud of it anyway. My first "competition" although I was speed walking the course instead of running.
Held at the Sebring International Raceway, which will mean something only to those who are interested in sports car racing, but the sense of history walking the track was enormous. The 12 Hours of Sebring is next weekend, but this weekend it was "Run the Track," with I'd guess over 100 people participating. I was nowhere near the last one to cross the finish line, which is an accomplishment of sorts. 🙂
Official time 50:30 for 3.74 miles.
A whole slew of new personal bests, too.
12-minute test 1.02 mi
1 km 6m:52s
1 mi 11m:43s
3 km 24m:01s
3 mi 39m:48s
5 km 41m:19s
Most importantly: 141bpm average HR, 694 calories. 😄
That's about 85% of my max heart rate as calculated by the new .7 times your age from 208 formula, which seems more accurate to me. By the old formula I was at 90% for 50 minutes, which is just silly. 😄
I crossed the finish line with a burst at 169, 5 over my recommended max.
