Hey there @ThBeales! Fitbit and the other products use different algorithms to measure stats so is natural to have different results. Here is an article where you can learn more on how the Surge measures data and you can look differences with the other products.

Hello! I guess I dont get it. All trackers are different. Between yours there is a 9% difference? I do not find that a big deal.

I still go by my Polar its more accurate.

Hi @ThBeales - The only metrics that intrigue me here is the average speed. The reported distances are more or less the same; and yet, the average speed differential is wide - that part makes no sense to me. Do you know what the actual distance was - was this a known documented course; and if so, are you able to identify which one is correct in terms of average speed? Not that it matters much, I don't own anyone of those devices. Just curious.

Has anyone had any success merging Surge heart rate data with Garmin contect data? I have a Garmin 510 and I would like to collect the HR data and merged it with my cycling data on Strava. I can wear the Garmin HR strap but I REFUSE, (I have too many boxes to check before each ride).

Currently after each ride my Garmin 510 and my Surge data downloads separately,so  when my friends on Strava see my recent  activities it shows  that I was riding with myself.

Check it out
