Think I'm in a similar boat to a lot of people here. Waiting to see a cardiologist now.. I'm in my early 20s and can have a resting heartbeat as low as 70-75. Some days, usually in a string of days, I can't really get it lower than high 80s. It shoots up doing household tasks, like cooking, often to around 145. Just sat at my desk now it's at 101 😞 None of my blood tests or ECGs have shown any results, nor a chest x-ray. Gonna get a 72 hour monitor fitted and hopefully see a cardiologist quickly in the new year, but I'm pretty **ahem** worried.

How tight do you wear your tracker? I ask because I've noticed when I'm working in the barn if I tighten my tracker one notch, I don't see wild spikes in my hear rate track.

I second the POTS. I have that...and see some crazy fluctuations.
Do you happen to have Ehlers Danlos or another connective tissue disease?

Hi everyone! I'd like to share my bpm during the day. At work, I stand up to fill my water bottle and my bpm rounds 80-90. After work, when I practice my guitar playing and I stand up, my bpm is from 100-110 since I try to move a little but I've noticed that if I carry a heavier guitar, my bpm increases a little bit.

Mine varies a lot depending on the day.
Right now fitbit says my resting HR is 65, but I am seated and lightly active WITH caffeine in me and it is 56, so...but when I am more active in the office it gets into the low 90's, sometimes low 100's if I am moving particularly fast.
If I could manage to sleep with my fitbit on I am guessing my resting HR would be a bit more accurate

What prevents you from sleeping with your Fitbit on?

Thanks for clearing my curiosity. I was doing just general household chores like cooking and setting laundry and noticed my hr is up to 115. So i went looking for an answer 🙂 my resting hr is 64-62 so i guess this is pretty normal.

@Getting_healthy, sounds reasonably normal to me. 🙂

Sounds like me. I have a part time cleaning job in the mornings and even if I take my time I’m dripping sweat and my heart rate is hitting 120-125

Hi , im new to the forum guys. Need some advice.
I am 29 year old female fairly healthy im underweight actually. I have been active before covid 😬. Hope everyone is staying safe. So i was always running to the cardiologist who said i was having panick and anxiety attacks!!:( and i would get dizzy spells simply from standing in line at anywhere. It wasnt until my husband bought me apple watch i started noticing my bpm go high all the time. At night when i sleep its extremely loww in the 40’s and during the day its goes up to 150 with minimal vacuuming dishes just even walking. So i went for second opinion. My echocardiogram was fine, stress test fine, bloodwork fine. He said i have pots. ….
does anyone who has this condition have any tips how to manage? Im so freaked out my all this news i thought i was crazy. Its affecting my daily life so he cardiologist gave me a medication to lower my heart rate . But im also trying to conceive and he said its a good class C drug however has shown to affect fetus. I would never want to do anything or take anything that gives the skighest chance for a baby to not be healthy. Any advice? Im not pregnant yet just trying. Im suppose to start the medication tomorrow. ? I would appreciate anyone can give me some advice:(

I have something called hyper adrenergic POTS...( Too much norepinephrine in my body...both son's and I have double the amount in our bodies) ...I can bottom out with low numbers and I can skyrocket with high numbers. My resting he is usually 78-90....just vacuuming, doing dishes, doing laundry, washing and drying my hair with get me in the 130's 140's ...heck after sleeping all night then just getting upright to go to the bathroom will go to 130's !!
My fit bit says I'm in excellent shape for a woman my age because I'm " supposedly" doing aerobics...when really I'm washing and blow drying my hair lol 🤣
Sometimes I'll just be sitting on the couch and zoom....I'm in the 160's 170's .....so frustrating!!
I also have ehlers danlos, chiari and other neural tube defects.

Hi, just wonder how are you now. Im kind of in the same situation i guess. at night my heart rate can go below 70 (sometimes go to 5x) before sleep. But during the day, it always in the range of 95~105 (even when sitting quietly at desk), usually will drop to 8x when lying down. But these days when i do a simple walking, it can go up to 130~150. which making me very worry

were you ever tested for a pheochromocytoma? Also do they have you on any beta blockers? I have an adrenal tumor and my norepinephrine is high so trying to rule it out. What are your norepinephrine levels?

I’m similar, my heart rate has been getting kind of high while cooking, cleaning and too high on runs. I’m getting a CT Coronary Calcium Scoring test it’s a good test to see if anything is blocked. Then I’ll do the heart monitor after that test depending on the results. Good to get things checked out!
