Hi Fitbit Community!
I'm Leanna, and I'm on the Fitbit marketing team. We've been running a series this month on how to stay healthy while on vacation (check out our blog for tips!), and as part of that we've been asking users to share out pictures of how they're staying fit on vacation. We've been getting a lot of great images – you can see some examples here, here, or here – but we'd love to see some from the community as well!
If you've taken any great pics while out with your Fitbit, share them below to help inspire others to be #vacationfit. We may want to share a few with our fans, in which case we'll message you individually for permission before doing so.

Hello everyone. Thanks for taking a break from stepping to visit the Community. @elephant889 You can find instructions to upload your vacation pictures here.
Additionally, I would recommend taking a look at this link for useful tips when traveling with your Fitbit device.
I hope you have a great trip. Catch you later.

Running races while on vacation is a pretty good way to stay #vacationfit! It's hard to avoid eating lots of good food and going out to eat while traveling - so it's even more important to keep up with getting the steps and having a race to prepare for definitely maintains that priority. I'm using Mobiletrack to get those steps (since I can't use Fitbit w/my Apple Watch :/) and my wife is using a Charge HR - keeps us competing and healthier!

Taking my protein packets with me on vacation is a lifesaver. It's always easy to find carbs everywhere, especially on the go and on vacation. Having protein readily available will help you stay on track! If you all want supplement tips/advice, send me an email to karla@infitnitude.com GOOD LUCK 🙂

I stay fit while on vacation by always staying committed to these things:
1- I must have a fitness room in my hotel- even if it is just a treadmill
2- I must have a fridge in my hotel room- my first stop on vacation or business travel is to the grocery store where I stock up on unsweetened cashew milk, plain Greek yogurt, baby spinach, and other fresh veggies and hummus. I choose to drink a healthy protein shake for breakfast over the options at the breakfast buffet. I choose to snack at the hotel if I have the chance over grabbing an unhealthy snack out and about.
3- I ALWAYS travel with my single serving blender, protein powder, and flaxseed. I know my body, and if I fill it with crap, then I feel like crap.
4- I wear my Fitbit and keep a goal to get my steps in no matter what. There is no reason not to be healthy.
5- If Im flying, I actually pack a cooler for the plane filled with carrots, celery, hummus, sugar snap peas, apple slices, almonds, etc. There is no reason for me to eat the chips on the plane and junk in the airport.

Great job! You sound a lot like me although you have an edge over me with the single serving blender and cooler for the plane. I pack snacks and also hit the grocery store to stock up my room fridge. I'd like to know if you have a preferred brand of the single serving blender and cooler that is travel friendly for the plane. Thank you for sharing your tips.

I am on vacation in Italy... just make smart choices! drink lots of water...skip in the morning 15 minutes and do some stretching...and go easy on the carbs. Choose your craving days, and other days just eat and drink moderate portions. Looking forward to that day(s) ..where you really feel like eating the whole pizza and drinking a bottle of wine is really more satisfying, than daily going out and stuffing yourself full with food 'becuz you are on vacation'. Then compensate that cheat day.. the next day with salads etc and you are fine! Besides.... try to excersize (walk, run) as much as you can, in the evening of morning when it is not to hot yet. 🙂 it works for me!

Barbz88, what a dream, vacationing in Italy and enjoying pizza and wine. You also sound like a weight watcher member, which I am a lifetime member, mixing good food and having salads the next day. It would be great if you shared a picture of you running or walking in Italy. Not like my picture of the Attack of the 50 foot chicken. Enjoy your vacation, with the sights, sounds and smells of Italy.

To make it worse... I even live in Italy (I am not Italian) ! but I work on cruise ships, so I am having my vacation basically back home. It is hard to work out, as I am living in the middle of nowhere in the hills..so it is mostly DIY excersizes on my yogamat and Bodyrock workouts. I have never done weight watchers and also never really searched info about it. so compensating is the key with ww? smart... I didnt think about workout pics in the hills here... but I got one on the bow of the ship ahaha

Barbz88, Thanks for posting a picture, how cool is it to work on a cruise line. I’m sure it gets old from time to time but someone has to do it. I am going back to school in Hospitality and Tourism, as a side note. I don’t know if you get YouTube but I’ve done several aerobics, Zumba and yoga classes just to mix up my training. May your day have Blue skies, green lights and smooth sailing.

sounds great! I have tried Zumba, Les Mills and yoga... nope its not for me. I love running and any kind of cardio. But dancing or group workouts dont work for me, I just cant seem to be part of it.. too slow.. I go the wrong way etc. However, workouts always alone are getting boring too.. so I still searching for new challenges.. Skies are totally blue here.. and there are also lots of mosquitos ;')

Barbz88, I love dancing and deeply involved in Clogging (tap dancing to bluegrass music). We had class last night and we danced close to 3 hours. I get up every morning walk my 3 dogs as a warm up and run for about an hour I use my Fitbit and mapmyrun every time I go out. Here is a picture of part of my group dancing at a nursing home, and me playing around.

Barbz88, or go with my motto; We are fools whether we dance or not, so might as well dance.
