How do you stay #vacationfit?

Hi Fitbit Community!

I'm Leanna, and I'm on the Fitbit marketing team. We've been running a series this month on how to stay healthy while on vacation (check out our blog for tips!), and as part of that we've been asking users to share out pictures of how they're staying fit on vacation. We've been getting a lot of great images – you can see some examples here, here, or here – but we'd love to see some from the community as well!

If you've taken any great pics while out with your Fitbit, share them below to help inspire others to be #vacationfit. We may want to share a few with our fans, in which case we'll message you individually for permission before doing so.

I take cycling vacations,Marin every day and try to get to the gym at least every other day. Cycle at least 40 miles a day, usually more, always very hilly.

Heading back to Branson for the long Labor Day weekend. Have my charger packed along with more running outfits than street clothes. Made reservation to stay on the top floor so we can rock the stairs and close enough to walk up and down the hill to the outlet mall. So I am ready to have fun and enjoy a nice Hot weekend.

I think most of my vacations are centered around fitness.  Whether it's a vacation thats taken to go to a race, or a family vacation that is planned around the fitness activities that are offered in the area.

The last vacation we took was out to CO for the Leadville 100 mountain bike race.  Went out a week early and explored CO and all the beauty out there.  Went white water rafting, hiking, cycling, horseback riding and swimming all leading up to the big race!

I love races that start with the sunrise.  But always nervous to ride too often in the dark before the sunrise.

I would be nervous if running on a trail before sunrise, but most of my runs are on pavement.

@ElitePhysiquesyou are my Idol, rocking the mountain bike trails and white water.

Totally a Rock Star.

during a recent trip to Boston (from Canada) I felt spurred on to try and win an challenge by using the stairs in our hotel room whenever I came and left from the hotel. As tough as it was - it was completely worth it! I completed the stairs 3 times in 4 days. - Oh, and I should mention.. we were on the 26th floor.

I've been thinking about this too.  I live in the desert, so yeah, the rocks are pretty when I run.  Except it's ALL rocks, and just the color changes.  Red rocks.  Gray rocks.  Brown rocks.  Yeah, that's about it.

But I really do need to start checking for races when we go on vacation, which is usually once or twice a year.

We spend a week on Pawleys Island (South Carolina) every October, and it is definitely my "happy place"!  While it's easy to stay active there - we walk on the beach, play bocce and cornhole and lawn dice, go crabbing, etc. - it's much more difficult for me to eat well while I'm surrounded by people who are not necessarily practicing good nutrition.  There tends to be a lot of bacon, sausages, crab and lobster, sweets, etc.  So this year my focus is on keeping to my nutrition plan and trying to avoid the dietary pitfalls all around me!  Smiley Very Happy
