Welcome back @enturavay. Isn't life all kinds of wonderful...wink wink 😉
Glad you are back and I agree that catching yourself when you are in the beginning stages of an uphill trend is helpful. But I agree size 2!! is not what I would call fat 🙂
But having a red flag item like a pair of pants that signal "hey, I need to pay attention and get back on track" is a really smart way of staying in control of your weight and your life...I applaud you! 🙂

for me. It is basically the equivalent of what I used to wear in high
school which was a 3/5. The 2s are a little on the snug size. I don't want
to go back to Xs and Ws. I was a 3X pants and a 3-5X for shirts when I
first started. I was also on My Fitness Pal. It was very motivating plus
the challenges on Fitbit. I lost a whole person in ten months. I can lose a
whopping 13 lbs! Then my goal ia to strengthen my body, since I definitely
slack off in the strength training department. I am pre menopausal and want
to avoid things like osteoporosis and muscle atrophy.

You remind me of my mom...she is 5" and used to get serious if her weight went to 100 lbs "I need to lose some weight...I'm 5'6" and always felt like a giant next to her. 🙂 I used to think that 120-130 lbs was way too heavy for me because of what my mom said, thankfully I was smart enough to look in the mirror and see that I was fine 🙂 Now 120-130 lbs is way to low for my athletic build...135-145 is much better on my frame, that's about a size 4-6 for me 🙂 so I guess my "fat pants" would be a size 8....I'm in a size 8-10 right now...so not too much more 🙂

fit, you probably could pull off a little more. Your mom should be more
than 100 unless she has a teeny tiny frame. I don't go below 115 even
though I looked good at 108 in high school, because I have skin and that
makes up some of my weight. I don't want to see ribs. I'll probablyl weigh
closer to the high end of my weight range once I get more fit in the muscle
department. That is fine with me.

Actually 145-155 works really well on me too if I have a lower body fat %. My mom is teeny tiny but has a beautiful athletic build she does not embrace 😞 I remember as a child thinking she was the most beautiful woman I knew, her legs were muscular and so were her arms, she was strong!!! I get my athletic build from her I am sure. I wish women were more accepting of their more athletic build, I see it being more stylish now for sure, but back when I was growing up, my mom definitely made me feel like I was too big...and so did the media...but I loved running and doing sports (hockey, football and soccer) so I needed my athletic body and I came to really appreciate what it could do...I was lucky not to fall prey to the "skinny" mentality of most of the world...

same too. I wish I had a more athletic physique so I am working toward
that. I agree. Women should embrace the idea of strength. Too many women
realize too late how important it is. Not just for muscles, but strength
training strengthens the bones. Once you hit 30 you start to slowly lose
density if you don't keep active.
