Running Steps not counted.

Hello and Happy Thanksgiving!

I ran a 5K on Thanksgiving Day. My first time running since getting my Zip. I was very disappointed to see after the race that it did not count any of my steps. It seems to be working fine logging walking steps. Any thoughts as to why this might have happened? Thanks in advance!

Malfunction.

Try testing it again around the block jogging the whole time. If really registering no steps on the unit, call in to support about it, need another unit.

You can make it interesting for the neighbors too, jog with your arms in the air and keep looking behind you. You might just bring a smile to someone.

Thanks. It is no longer just running. I wore it on a 20 minute walk this morning from the train station to my office and it registered 385 steps. I called Fitbit support and they are replacing it for me.

I had my Flex replaced a week ago for the same thing. I walked all morning and it registered no steps, it also was not holding a charge. Things are better now.
