What Quote Inspires you?

For me it is a quote by Kamina from the anime Gurren Laggan. He says, "Kick logic to the curb and do the impossible." In the show he gives Simon a lot of motivational speeches but that always stuck with me. Like sometimes our brains hold us back. They tell us logically we can't do this or that. And once we break free from that, we are free to imagine we can do anything. It helps remind me I am capable of anything.

I actually get really inspired by anime yet most people underestimate it because "cartoons are for kids." HAHA And the character Kamina just gives so many motivational speeches through out the whole show. It gets you really pumped to do anything!

Nike's "Just Do It".  

Exercise? Just do it.  Be nice to others? Just do it. Eat smart today? Just do it. Have a nice day?  Just do it.  Finally work toward and run that allusive 5k?  Just do it. Smile more, even at strangers?  Just do it.  Get off the couch and play catch with the neighbor kid? Just do it.  Quit complaining?  Just do it. 

I think the slogan works in all areas of life--big and small.
