I have that one song. You have that one song. We all have that one song. Some people have more than one song (that's okay!). What is the one song that gets you fired up?
For me, if I'm diggin' some alternative, it's Sleigh Bells' "Infinity Guitars." If I need to hear some nice hip-hop to get my workout going, my go-to is Kanye West's "Power." If I need some EDM in my life, I go with this amended version of Lana Del Ray's "Summertime Sadness." As far as song in movies go, John William's composition of "Battle of the Heroes" does it for me!
As a bonus, my good friend @GraceFitbit reminded me how good the year 2005 was, and went with Beyoncé's Crazy In Love .
Above all else, there is the one song that gets me ready to work hard and reach for the improbable. It is one of the most popular songs in the history of the world, and universally one of the most motivating. I am speaking, of course of Ludwig Van Beethoven's "5th Symphony in C Minor."
Now that you have an idea of what songs get our blood ready to flow and our hearts ready to race, we have to know- what song motivates you?

@fitmissjen I have to agree that Spotify's playlists are pretty spot on. I listen to the TGIF one pretty much every Wednesday.

I can't say there's any one genre I don't like. Just saw "A better place" on Netflix with Glenn Campbell and his musical family yesterday. Such a great musician and beautiful person - even with Altzheimers! It really moved me.

Hey Hey Hey everyone! It is great how music makes you feel so much in every occasion or activity you are doing. Specially while working out, music is essential to have that boost and motivation going through the hole workout session.
I do have a really big variety of musical tastes and I listen to them depending on what mood I'm on, however the are some exceptions, that can never be left out of the list no matter what genres it is that I'm listening too.
This exceptions are:
Red Hot Chilli Peppers-Can't stop
I hope we can continue sharing in this awesome board, Have a nice weekend everyone!

Great ideas here. Wonderful way to expand my playlist. I often listen to books while walkin/running on treadmill. It will be great to hear some new/old songs.

I think that Kanye's instrumentals on Vic Mensa's [very explicit] 'U Mad' provides the insane beat I need to get through the final push on my runs!

I do that as well @Bobbinyc, audiobooks work really great for me while working out. I try to mix it up a little, listening to good music a few times.
@gjobjo, nature sounds are fantastic to relax, it can definitely take the stress away while exercising.
That's an excellent choice @EmersonFitbit!
