I removed all sugar for 2 weeks - even fruit. Now when I want something sweet I have fresh fruit or dark chocolate (at least 72%). Anything sweeter and I find that it doesn't taste good and makes me feel yucky.

Just be prepared that your body might go into a detox when you go cold turkey with sugar. You can give it a try, but if it is too much (it can get pretty bad with headaches) cutting down sugar slowly is the better option for you.

There are a couple of really tasty yogourt cups in grocery stores that have very few calories,no fat and almost no sugar.
One is Source and they are great. Many flavours.
You can also get no-sugar added chocolate from sweet shops . I bought some chocolate coated peanuts and they were good.
Otherwise i eat pears.

There's a snack company called That's It that makes fruit bars that are just fruit. I found that they also make "bites"--chocolate covered pureed fruit. The whole bag is 150 calories, but I usually only eat half at a time.
Really, give me any combo of fruit, nuts, and chocolate, and I'm happy.

I'm the same way! Really, you have to cut sugars out for several weeks and the cravings go away. It's a yeast problem with me. Good probiotics help get you there quicker.
Some things that got me through the tough part were sugar free Jell-O, sugar free thin mints (only 1-2 to kick the craving) and sometimes sipping on crystal light or something similar. Also chewing gum. I don't recommend using them steadily as most have artificial sweeteners and the candy may have carbs. But when the craving came around it was a quick fix to satisfy until the craving passed. You will always have to be careful because when you get passed that point and start eating sugar things again, your cravings will come back. Moderation, moderation, moderation! I have moved on to natural sugars now like raw honey, organic coconut sugar and whole fruits. It's a lifestyle change and it really helps to have someone go through these changes with you. You aren't alone and you can do it!

@TOBES10 Take a look at the benefits of adding the supplement L-Glutamine to your routine to help with this. Make sure you order a high quality, reputable brand. Hope this helps.
