Recently I read that coffee contains magnesium and potassium, which helps the human body use insulin, regulating blood sugar levels and reducing your craving for sugary treats and snacks. I'm not sure about this, since I don't drink to much coffee in fact I drink a cup o coffee only when I visit a friend that might serve coffee. And during this time, we don't visit people that much.
I also read that studies have shown that coffee drinker’s overall risk of premature death is 25% lower than of those who don’t drink coffee. And that coffee contains a lot of antioxidants, that work as little warriors fighting and protecting against free radicals within your body.
What do you do think about this?

The research reports seem to yo-yo. They can’t decide if it’s good or bad for us. But I need and enjoy my morning coffee. Two cups and I’m ready for the day!

Exactly, I know a lot of people with both opinions, some positive and some negative. I really like coffee but it's not good for me 😑
Lucky you! You can enjoy your two cups of coffee daily with no problem. ☕

@YojanaFitbit similar to every single thing in this world, there will be two sides and debates to everything. Coffee is not bad. Tea is not bad. Caffeine in moderation is not bad. Nothing is good or bad. It is what we do in excess that makes things good or bad. I am eastern European. I started drinking coffee when I was 8 years old and have never considered it good or bad. It just is. I have a cup and a half each morning and a cup and a half each afternoon. I love coffee. Not the froufrou coffees, dark strong yummy coffee with a little stevia and almond milk. That's it. It is dehydrating, so I ensure my water consumption if on target for the day and on days I know I will be drinking alcohol, I stop at my morning cup to ensure I don't dehydrate as the day/evening goes on. People spend so much time worrying about the good and the bad- when if you just adjust whatever you like to your lifestyle and your good health- you will be enjoying life so much more.

Guys, which coffee beans do you like the most? I recently tried Lavazza Super Crema Coffee Beans and it was awesome, most likely it's my favorite product.

My first cup every morning is San Francisco Bay French Roast brewed in my Keurig Supreme Plus coffee maker at the strongest setting. It sort of jump starts my day. Then I usually brew a flavored coffee for the second cup. Like @emili , a little sweetener and a touch of creamer and I’m good to go. I used to drink the froufrou coffees pre-pandemic but learned to really, really enjoy the simpler (and less caloric) things in life when I was not running errands and going out much. Cheers! ☕️

Yes, coffee is an excellent drink if you drink it in moderation. But I know people who drink several cups of black coffee almost every day, thereby constantly increasing the level of caffeine in the blood. It harms a person's heart because it also increases beats per minute so on. Therefore, everything is good in moderation! It is also vital to drink high-quality coffee. For example, I constantly monitor different sites that present the best coffee beans at the moment. And after I read the reviews about this product, I'm already looking for it on Amazon and ordering it.

I love the taste of coffee and used to enjoy the caffeine boost in the morning but sadly I can't tolerate caffeine any more so I have swapped to decaf so I can can still enjoy the taste, even if I don't get the 'boost'. I like almond milk cappuccinos best 😊

I definitely agree with ‘all things in moderation.’ For coffee, I’ve stopped drinking in the afternoon or evening because it seems to affect my sleep. But I love it in the morning, and usually have the equivalent of 2-4 shots of espresso in one or two lattes most days. The only downside (to moderate drinking) seems to be that if you WILL get headaches if you are suddenly cut off for some reason.
