@johnathansmith6 I bought myself a NutriBullet and have been really happy with it. I especially like that the containers are designed to be serving portions and can be used as cups.

Initially I wanted to buy a refurbished Blendtec Blender, but then I realized that I would probably use it more to remake my favorite Will It Blend episodes instead of actually using it to juice fruits and veggies.

Hi Jonathan! I feel like I am somewhat qualified to answer this since I have gone through so many low price to mid-range juicers over the past few years! I've used a Nutribullet, a food processor and wasted time and money on super cheap juicers and I probably should have just invested in one of the super fancy juicers to begin with (something to consider!) but I would recommend any of the below.

I started using a Breville Juice Fountain and found it to have a relatively good juice yield and it was very quick and easy to use given you don't have to chop everything into fine pieces. Doesn't do as well on greens as cold press juicers. You'll also find your juice doesn't have as many 'bits' in it in comparison to the cold press juicers.

For a while I used a Kuchef Slow Juicer which, if you can find one, is a great bargain at around $150. It was my favourite but unfortunately the engine died after just a few months. Apparently this is unusual for the brand.

I am now using The Juice Pro cold press slow juicer which, as the name suggests, is cumbersome and slow but the juice itself has a higher nutrient yield than regular juicers. It's a bit annoying to take apart and clean but we all hate that part!

If you want something quick and easy I would suggest the Breville but for better quality juice opt for a slow juicer.

Happy juicing! 🙂

You will have to share your kale, coconut and smartphone smoothie recipes.

I purchased a huge, really expensive juicer about 2 years ago, I used it about 4 times since I hated cleaning a juicer that was the size of my cat. So I kind of quit on juicing and got a pretty blender. A couple days ago, I ran into the recipes from Laura Miller and she does amazing juices, without a juicer.

What she does is that she blends the ingredients with a bit of water on a regular blender and then strains them through a cheesecloth. I'm not much of a juice person, but it seems like a less complicated solution while you are undecided on buying a juicer.

Nutribullet here. Easy to clean, enough power to blitz pretty much everything, can't recommend it highly enough.
