Just received Fitbit inspire 2, The app shows several months where I’ve burned 1824 cal every day. How do I reset calories burned to start fresh?

@Benc247 those calories represent your Basal Metabolic Rate or BMR. You don't only burn calories when you exercise. You also burn them just by being alive. There's not a way to erase them from your history and your future calorie burns will also include your BMR.

The problem with that, is, I did not even have the Fitbit inspire two during the times it says I burn that many calories. I just received it today, and it’s saying for the last few months and I’ve been burning calories?

@Benc247 yes, you are still burning those calories whether or not you are wearing a Fitbit. Even if you don't own a Fitbit, you are still alive and burning calories to stay that way.

I understand what you’re saying. Let me give it a few days and see if the statistics make sense then.

@Benc247 This is one of those Fitbit programming quirks -- being able to see data and you didn't have an account. Just ignore it. There is no long term impact on your data from this.
