Date and steps wrong

The weirdest thing happened tonight , I checked my Fitbit before doing my exercise and had 8500 steps and it was showing correct date . After my exercises I wondered why I wasn’t well over 10k in points . The date was showing December 20th, today is January 30th and it was showing 4000 steps ??! I didn’t even get my Fitbit inspire 3 until December 25th . I got it back to today’s date but those 4000 steps aren’t showing , guess they stayed on Dec 20th / I didn’t even register until Jan 1st . Not sure what happened. Maybe it is a random issue

Hi, @Bremare, welcome to the community, Initial advice is the equivalent of "Switch it off - Switch it on"

  1. Sync your Fitbit app>go to your phone app tray Fitbit & clear the cache
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Swipe down to & touch settings on your Inspire 3>swipe up & restart your device.
  4. Sync your Fitbit app.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
