Fitbit App - No daily, weekly, monthly or yearly records available

My app records the daily steps & distance but when I come to look at the history, there isn’t any information in the daily, weekly, monthly or yearly records. It worked fine last week but nothing this week & this has never happened before

just checking you saw my earlier post. 


I have retried the uninstall / install process several times during the last couple of weeks. I have just retried again (based on Dennisthottle experience, see below) and it works! I then did the same for my husband and his works too!

So you might want  to retry it.

I appreciate your messages and feedback about this situation regarding the no daily, weekly, monthly or yearly records available. 

I understand your feelings about this situation, and this is definitely not the experience we want for our customers. 

As @Novemberleaf explained (thank you so much for your message), you may need to try uninstalling and reinstalling the application again to see the desired results. It's worth a try. 

Please remember to: 

  1. Logout. 
  2. Uninstall.
  3. Reinstall. 
  4. Login. 

All your feedback is more than welcome and useful for our developers.

I'll be posting here any updates about this situation.

I want to thank you all for your patience and for your efforts.

Have you already checked if you can update the Fitbit app? Our team is releasing a new version of the Fitbit app which is slowly rolling-out to all our members, I'd suggest to install it as soon as you see it available in the App Store or Play Store and check if your historical data appears again afterwards.

Let me know if it works, I'll keep our team informed.

A new fitbit app is not available in the App store so I am still using the
existing version and I am still missing my history.

I updated the app from the Apple app store and it corrected the problem.

Have you checked again if the new version is available now? Afterwards try the troubleshooting steps again:

  1. Logout. 
  2. Uninstall.
  3. Reinstall. 
  4. Login.

It finally worked for me.  Did all the steps as above.  Took a while though for the problem to be fixed, since January 2025.  I have all my history.
