There was an article saying the Inspire 3 would be getting a firmware update. The number listed was 210.26. Has anyone received this update yet? I haven't and just wanted to check. Thanks!

Hi @Johnaaj no update for my Inspire 3 yet, either. Unfortunately we can't make our device check for or download an update. They are done on a rolling basis and when it's our turn to receive the update, we will see it on the app itself.

That's what I figured was the case. Thanks for the info! 🙂

I got it last week. Not sure if it's related but I have lost my Bluetooth connection several times since the update. That was a rare occurrence before the update.

I saw a few other posts on here where other people are saying they have had some issues since the update, and I believe one of them was Bluetooth connectivity problems.

I got it. I hate it. Now while I'm in the middle of exercising, an alert pops up saying "Stop Workout?" with a huge YES button. You have to scroll down to see the NO button, which involves touching the YES button. It has done this during EVERY exercise I've done since the Update. I wish there was a way to turn this off!!!

Same here. This update is destroying the whole Fitbit experience for me. Is nobody testing the software before it gets released to the public?
One of the unique selling points of Fitbit was that it tracks exercises AUTOMATICALLY. Now it asks me if i am walking...WHY? I want it just to track what I am doing like before. Without asking me anything. When I go to bed it also does not ask if I am sleeping...which would be absolutely dumb of course.
And by the way: when I go to "Yes" (yes, I am walking) it shows my pace and NOT my heart rate...I wanna see my heartrate in realtime. For me that is one of the main reasons why I have a Fitbit. And now I can`t even see it WHILE exercising...where is the point here?
Also I did not find a menu where I can toggle it off so it is not disturbing me every time it thinks I am exercising. Only toggle I found is that it detects exercises automatically. But when it now asks me every time for me this is not automatically. Because I have to confirm every single time. That is just annoying.
It is unbelievable how Fitbit devices become more and more useless with just software updates.

In the menu I also turned off to send me a push message if it detects a training. So everything training realted is OFF and it still asks me if I am training...^^

My guess is that the 210.26 FW update roll-out was a disaster, based upon all the bug reports that are being posted by people that were unfortunate enough to download it.
It's been quite some time since the announcement for the 210.26 FW roll-out and I am still not in the queue to download it, so Google is probably scrambling to get a stable FW version released ASAP to resolve these performance issues.

Okay so one more day with the new update and I found out that my Fitbit Inspire 3 even tracks a Workout WITHOUT confirming it. So when it asks me, if I am walking and I just ignore it, it tracks walking anyway...how does that make sense?
And whats still very annoying. I was on a short walk today and when I came back home my Inspire 3 asked me if I am walking...but it was already over, because I was back home. Also when you see the question on the display below that there is a counter already running so it is already tracking my workout. But I can not say "NO". I have to confirm, then have to pause the training to be able to stop it. So many klicks on such a small display.
But there is one good thing with the new update 🙂 It tracks my heartrate much more accurate when I am on the treadmill. Before that was not the case, I thought because of my wrist movement. But now it works absolutely great. So I lost the feature of automatically tracking my workouts and got the feature of accurate heartrate...what a deal 🙂
Anyway I will go for the Fitbit Luxe now, hoping they don`t destroy this one too with a software update.

When your tracker is recording steps(on your walk) does it tell you how many miles you have walked? Mine used to do that but not now 🙅:female_sign: 😕

Yes, it tells me the miles. I have entered my step (stride) length into the (iOS) app. If you haven't entered a step length, then the tracker is supposed to calculate it out for you but you need your phone with you so the GPS can figure it out.

My stride was entered and my phone is always with when I am out walking and my location is always on. This has happened since there was a software update which I wish I had not done.

Mine has been updated also. You could try restarting the Fitbit. Does the app give you the data for your walk, time, steps, zone minutes, etc?

Already restarted it. Yes the App gave me my steps but not the miles generated by the walk.

I updated my Inspire 3 yesterday and I am not happy with it. I am recovering from brain surgery and partial loss on my right side,, so walking outside with the 4-wheel walker is how I am tracking improvement. Well, the Fitbit app is not syncing location data, and so I have no way of looking at the map and seeing how my zone minutes are corresponding to the progress in endurance I am making while walking outside. I don’t even know if distance is accurate because I have irregular stride length. I used to get a vibrating inspire when it gets the GPS signal, now I don’t even see the icon anywhere even though I have checked settings on my iphone to enable location data.
Also, for rehab purposes like mine, is there any way to set hourly activity steps to a lower number instead of 250 steps. I would rather see an initial goal of 100 steps every hour and increase it from there than to have the nearly unattainable goal of 250 steps every hour. By the way, I am 76 years old.
But the lack of mapping my walk is unacceptable. I am not happy.

I see you got a suggestion to set the step length. FWIW, the iOS app gives the following data: duration (rounded to the minute), distance, average pace, zone minutes, steps, energy burned (calories) and heart rate.
