Hello,
Finally had time to take a break and ask some questions about the Inspire 3.
1) I have 3 workouts planned each week. Monday Weds and Fridays. Yesterday Fitbit logged an exercise of walking twice. Question: Does Fitbit see walking around my farm as exercise? It booked .44 miles 19 mins and .56 miles at 22 mins. I walk a lot around the farm.
2) Today Fitbit logged two Bike rides as exercise. Only problem is I don't use a bike. One was logged as .02 miles 40 mins and .97 miles at 21 mins.
3) I question the accuracy of the heart rate log. Fitbit logged 179 BPM as I ran on the treadmill. The heatbeat range was 44 to179 BPM. After 30 or 60 minutes on the treadmill I rarely go over 109 BPM according to the treadmill stats.
Is the Fitbit off? Out of calibration? How can I dial this Inspire 3 in? Maybe, I'm just not understanding something here.
Regards,
Kjeff
That's it for now..
If I sit in a chair watching TV for several hours, Fitbit logs this as sleep time.
Best AnswerI have the same issue with sitting still being considered as asleep. My fix for this had been to shake my wrist every now and then. There might be a better solution, but this works for me.
As for the automatic activity detection, you may want to turn them off. I had a similar problem when using my snowblower, the Inspire 3 would record it as biking.
Laying on my stomach while working on a dishwasher installation was recorded as swimming.
