Inspire 3 Health Metrics

Does anyone's Inspire 3 give readings for Breathing Rate and Heart Rate Variability? I bought mine at the start of this year and fiddled around with it for two months, chatting online with customer support, dealing with customer support via email and finally calling them. They finally sent me a new device and it doesn't report those measurements either. I don't believe that the device is capable but I wanted to see if anyone has one that works.

Same for me.  Had been working with help desk for three weeks.  I turned off sleep schedule and boom - results showed up and have continued for 3 weeks.

The Inspire 3 is capable to record your health metrics. 

Please make sure that you have the latest Fitbit app version installed.

What do you see on the health metrics site on the Fitbit app when tapping on it?

Any error message?

If so, what does it say?

I’m also having the same problem.   No breathing rate has been recorded since April 5…No HRV since April 6.    I initially thought it was my Inspire 2.  I’ve worn it constantly for the past several years and have been pretty hard on it, so  I replaced it with a new Inspire 3.   Still no sleep score, breathing rate or HRV.    Very disappointing!   I hope this gets resolved soon

I had this problem also and then suddenly all the metrics starting logging except for the skin temperature. This lasted about 4 days and now i am left only with heartbeat and sleeping metrics. I have only had this for 2 weeks and am already thinking of sending it back. I bought one for my wife also and she has the same problems. They are both with the latest firmware and I have followed all the available advice found online. it really is a shame as apart from that it could be a great device. I really don't know what to do.

Don't bother if they offer you a replacement because I've gone that route
with the same result.
It's obviously a case of false advertising!

There is obviously a design flaw with the Inspire 3.

I think you could be right. My data stops recording for a couple of days at a time and then continues again (this time 1 day) without filling in the blanks currently i only have Oxygen saturation and Resting heart rate showing in the metrics. The other are showing no data in the last 24 hours and then only for one day and 3 days prior to that nothing. I might well use my 45 day right of return yet. Are there any others in this forum experiencing the same problems?

This should solve the situation with the missing data.

Thanks for the information. I had already downloaded the new app upon release. Until now there are no differences in performance regarding the metrics not working. I have oxygen saturation and resting heart rate also, everything else is saying no data in the last 24hrs as was previously the situation. I also have no sleep score which was previously working for a couple of days and then only intermittently but more often was not working. Temperature has only worked once in the 3 weeks i have had my tracker. It really is a shame because I actually like the device and wear it 24hrs a day every day since it arrived. Many friends have asked me about it but wont be buying it on my negative feedback. I bought one for my wife also and she has similar problems with the device as me. I will give it another week and then its going back. I paid for this device and do not want to have to do the investigative work to get it to work properly. Personally i do not think the device should be on sale until these problems are ironed out. Product testing a purchased device is in my opinion not good for business (fitbit) and i will not recommend this device to anybody based on my experiences so far.

I was going to add to this post yesterday to comment how my tracker had started working correctly after 24hrs of the latest update but unfortunately it only lasted 1 day and everything is as before. Looking back at my records i noted that out of 14 days it has only worked correctly for 3 of them.

I really wanted to post something positive last night but today its back to square one. C'mon FitBit sort this out please......

I'm having all the same problems as well. Chat person offered no working solutions. I also noticed it wasn't tracking heart rate in real time. Sometimes took a few minutes to register compared to my blood pressure cuff. My previous Inspire 2 worked fine. My new 3 only worked for 2 months. They need to figure this out.

I did not receive a notification either. I went to the apps on my phone and saw that an update was available (Apple app store).

I hope i am not premature in my update but my tracker seems to be functioning normally. For the last 5 days everything has worked without a single problem. 
I wanted to add that the only thing i am doing differently is not manually setting the SLEEP function when i go to bed. I might be mistaken but for me this seems to mess with the device. If anyone is setting sleep tracking manually and experiencing problems try doing nothing and just let the device detect automatically that you are sleeping. I hope this helps someone else and would be interested to hear other peoples feedback as to this helping or not. 
I will update again if the situation takes a U turn.

Its frustrating i know. I am not holding my breath either to be honest. I am sure i will be updating this thread in the near future. I just wanted to post something that was not negative to balance the topic a little and document the trials and tribulations of ownership. 🤣
