Inspire 3 stopped tracking my sleep score

My inspire 3 gas stopped giving me a sleep score & sleep metrics. It just says i’ve slept x amount of hours & restless for x amount. Its been doing it for last 3 weeks. I have restarted the app, restarted the fitbit. Tried wearing it higher but nothing seems to work

I’ve got the same problem. It seemed to start after the last update. Very frustrating.

Hi, @Cdaines, thanks for your feedback. When you delete & reload the Fitbit app, you need to sync your app, Force stop, clear storage, uninstall, and then RESTART YOUR PHONE before reloading the Fitbit app & setting up your Inspire 3 with your Google account again. Remember that you need to be at rest for about an hour, as described in How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? - Fitbit Help Center: Try adjusting the sleep feature settings, touch the "Sleep" tile>three dots in the top right>sleep settings>sleep sensitivity normal/sensitive.

I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers

Not sure what you mean by force stop. But tried everything else and its still not displaying sleep pattern properly. Hasn’t done since 22nd march. I’ve even tried wearing it on other wrist

Hi, @Cdaines. Go into the Fitbit app on your cellphone settings to see this screen or something similar if you have an iOS phone -

Touch "Force Stop" and clear "Storage & Cache" before pressing "Uninstall." It seems important to restart your phone before reloading.

Please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Hi, @Cdaines, thanks for this information. The Inspire 3 needs to be set to "worn on wrist" to track your sleep. If it is set to "Clip on body," you will see that the device advises "Clip on body instead? heart rate, sleep score and other features will not be available" The feature is designed for health professionals who may be required to keep their wrists, hands & forearms clear of anything that might be difficult to keep hygienically clean. The worn-on-body setting disables the HR monitoring LED/sensor, thereby denying data to calculate sleep score. To set this correctly from the clock face screen, swipe down x 5 to "clipped on body" and tap the icon>you'll get "Wear on wrist instead? all features will be available">yes. Return to the clock face. When you move your Inspire 3 the green LED lights will now flash. Wear your Inspire 3 overnight.

Please let us know how you get on by posting here.

Cheers

Still not giving me sleep info. I’ve tried the steps again today and
hopefully tomorrow I will get a sleep score.

Four things I want from my Fitbit and two aren’t working correctly.

1. Time - works
2. Steps - works
3. Accurate data for my walking route - doesn’t work with correct data.
About 0.7 miles off on a 3 mile walk. (My previous Fitbit is what gave me
my correct distance and this one did too for awhile).
4. Sleep score - not working.

When the battery goes on this I will probably look elsewhere.
