Inspire 3 notifications help

I got my wife an Inspire 3 watch for Christmas. She can't stand the frequent notifications she's getting from the app (apparently) on her phone. I've already turned off everything at the account level, but they still happen. She wants one-way communication from watch to app and nothing else. What do I need to do?

Thank you so much for reporting this situation. I can totally understand that notifications can bother. 

If she's getting notifications from the app on her phone, you can turn off the notifications from the Fitbit app directly on her phone. 

For iOS you can do it this way:

1. In the Settings app, tap Apps.
2. Tap the Fitbit app.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Turn Allow Notifications off.
