I just got an Inspire 3 and set it up with the app. Everything was working well for a day, then I tried to change the clock face and something went wrong while it was syncing…
Now the screen is completely black/off, though it still vibrates when pressing the sides (so it’s technically running, but no screen or touch input).
In trying to get it functional again, the app recommended I un-pair Bluetooth and re-sync to fix the connection because it couldn’t find the device, but now I can’t even pair it because the screen is blank and can’t show the PIN when pairing.
I can reset it (plug in and hold sides for 10 seconds), but it just shows the fitbit logo and then it’s back to a blank screen.
In short: is there a way to factory reset the Inspire 3 without requiring screen interaction or Bluetooth connectivity? Like some sequence of holding down the sides for 90 seconds while plugged in or something?
Update:
@Fitbit — any thoughts?
Very disappointed that my Inspire 3 seems bricked after less than a day of use.

Hi, @Akumpf welcome, have you been able to resolve your problem? You will find restarting options in this video, in particular a factory reset of an unresponsive Inspire 3 at 1.30. If you do get it going your best next step is to change the clock face in the Fitbit app on your phone. From the "Today" screen touch your icon in the top left corner>Inspire 3 tile>gallery>clocks>choose another face & install.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

I’ve had the exact same problem twice now- with the original one I purchased and the replacement I was sent under the warranty. So frustrating! I don’t want to go through sending this second one back again but I haven’t been able to find a way to fix it myself; the bluetooth will not connect at all, so I can’t even attempt the clock-change fix 😞
