Tried charging my HR and it won't charge past 86%.

Now it won't discharge either.  Really irritating.

Hi, @YorkshireGal66 , I am a little bit confused by what you mean it “won’t discharge”.

Also could you confirm how you are charging your Fitbit?  Wall charger or plugged in to computer?

I use the charger it came with (wall charger). It has been sitting at 86%
all day. Usually it will start to drop % pretty quickly.

@YorkshireGal66  the Fitbit does not come with a wall charger.  It comes with a USB cable.  Are you plugging that cableinto a wall charger?  Is it UL/CE certified?

I have always used the USB cable to plug it into a wall charger. Is that
not how I should charge it?

Don’t know how to better explain “won’t discharge”. I have always charged
it this way.

I don’t know how to explain any other way that it won’t discharge. I am using an Apple wall plug with the USB cord.  I have always charged it this way.

It’s absolutely fine to charge it that way.

I am guessing that maybe your screen is frozen.  You can usually fix that with a restart.

Be very careful that the Inspire HR is attached to the charging cable, even if it does not seem to be charging.  While it is firmly attached to the cable, press and hold the button.  You may need to hold it for up to 20-30 seconds, but with luck the screen should come back to life and you will see a smiley face.  If it doesn’t work the first time, it is worth checking it is properly attached to the cable and try pressing the button again.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!
