Hi,
I am using Inspire HR for more than 6 month from now and one month ago I started to do some interval training (150 meters run, than 250 m walk).
Comparing to my old Mio Alpha 2 watch, my Inspire HR does not follow accurately the sudden increases of my HR (from 120 to 170) but tends to smooth the HR variations.
During aerobic training (HR stable between 125 and 135), both Inspire HR and Mio Alpha 2 watch are almost perfectly displaying the same HR.
Is there a software or firmware setting or another thing I can do to get a better HR variation tracking during interval training ?
Thanks in advance for your replies.
Bernard

@Bernie0561 It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your heart rate not being accurately recorded during your interval training. When doing exercises excessive sweat could prevent the device from getting an accurate heart rate reading. Many members have mentioned that using a sports band helps them quickly remove the sweat so your device can perform correctly. I also suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Let me know how it goes.
