Notifications not working on Xiaomi Redmi Note 6

Hello, I just got my brand new Fitbit inspire! I'm really happy with it but I'm having problems with the notifications from my cellphone. My phone is a Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and I just read that is not in the compatible list; I didn't know about this situation before buying the fitbit otherwise I could have considered other options. I really hope that you can update the Fitbit to resolve this problem! Let me help you with your missing notifications on your Inspire. As you mentioned your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:

• Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
• Restart your phone and restart your device. 
• Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
• Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
