Hello,
I had a major issue today with my Ionic. After I run for 1h (~11.3km), I synced the activity and I ended up with a Ride of 400m. The duration of the activity is correct. Somehow, as you can see from the screenshot, the total distance calculated by the GPS is correct but something clearly went wrong during the synchronization with Google maps. On my Ionic the activity is reported correctly.
That's not the first time that happens but not to such a degree. In the past only the kind of activity was wrong (Ride instead of Run) but everything else was correct.
Ideas on how to fix the issue? What happens if I delete the activity from the app and try to sync again?
Thank you,
Davide

Hi @GraceGFitbit,
Thanks for the reply. I tried this approach already and it didn't work unfortunately.
Any other suggestion?
No big deal if I have to delete the activity this time but I would like to avoid to end up in the same situation in the future.

I have the same problem. The map shows the wrong route. Time and distance is correct, but route on map is wrong. I have tried the suggested solution with no success.

This activity (on Nov. 7th) has registered the wrong distance. This is actually a route I do regularly, but not this day. On this day I started similarly, but I turned right on the track close to the lake you see. Distance and time appear to be measured correctly, but the track is registered wrong.
Yesterday (Nov 15th), the activity was registered wrong on my return. I ran the same track on the way out and back. Distance and time appear to be measured correctly, but the track is registered wrong
I have uploaded pictures of the two tracks. I have tried the trouble shooting approach (log out from the Fitbit App, restart your phone, log in to the Fitbit App and check the activity again) with no success.

Thank you for getting back to us with those pictures @LiveEvjen.
When you select a GPS exercise, Ionic vibrates when it finds a GPS signal. If Ionic doesn't find a signal immediately, keep in mind that environmental factors including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover can interfere with your watch's ability to connect to GPS satellites.
For best results, wait for Ionic to find the signal before you start your workout. If you don't want to wait you can start your workout and GPS tracking begins when Ionic finds a signal.
Note that Ionic uses your step count to calculate distance until it finds a GPS signal. In this scenario, your total distance calculated for the workout may be slightly less accurate than if GPS data were available for the entire duration. For more information, see How accurate is GPS?
Give it a shot and let me know if that works!
