Hello @KarenLeah I'm not sure what all the usual things that you have tried are.
Things to try, note the one that works and try that one first next time.
Turn bluetooth off/ on
Update the Fitbit app.
Check for phone updates.
Cleared the Fitbit cache, or the phone's cache.
Swiped any unneeded apps out of memory.
Restarted the tracker
Restarted three phone.
Better yet, shut both the tracker and phone off.
Remove the Fitbit AP, restart phone, and install a fresh copy.
Yup I’ve done it all sadly.
My Charge 2 syncs just fine too. Seems like an issue with the Ionic.
Thanks anyway. I appreciate it.
Best Answer@KarenLeah I guess something to get used to. I also own Galaxy S8+ and can't sync without issues. Sometimes troubleshooting works, sometimes doesn't so I give up and try a few hours later on the next day. It's all random. Before upgrading Ionic to OS3.0 I haven't experienced any major sync issues.
I often the S8+ and with the last 2 Fitbit App updates, syncing has been very smooth.
I can say for the first 2.5 months odd this year my 2 brothers and his wife all 4 of us have the same phone, I was the only one that has major sync issues and rolled the app back to 2.83
