Assist me making a choice-
My request is more ‘PT’ (physical therapy) oriented than ‘exercise oriented’. I’m age 77 with partial paralysis. I use an exercise bike for my legs, it does NOT exercise my arms. I would like to setup my new Fitbit Ionic to track the PT that I am on the bike but do not know how to do that. Also, I do not know which Fitbit exercise to select, closest match to my PT bike. Thank you!

Your best bet is to try and fine a extra large band and wrap it around your ankle this way it will register your movements. As for which exercise to pick, bike would be the best choice, but from what I know the ionic should be able to choose that based on your activity.

Welcome to the forums!

You can use Bike mode but if you do it will not count any steps.

If you want the steps to count I put my hands on my knees and it count steps not accurate tho as its not step based.

I  have heard of people strapping it around the band part where you put your feet as well as stated above on the ankle.

Hope to see you around more!
