Auto brightness

Auto brightness is too dim to read content when in daylight. I have used settings and changed but normal is far too bright and using battery power very quickly. I have reset and played again with these settings but still auto is too dim. Why is this? What can I do?

This is how my ordeal started which culminated 2 days later with screen going fully dark. Ever since, support is offering me 25% discount for another fitbit. Painful after having spent 250+$.

Good luck with your fitbit, hopefully you dont end up the same way I did. Now the fitbit still synch with a dead screen!
