This may be a bit of a long shot, but you could try downloading "Bit Finder Geo" which works kind of like a metal detector but for Fitbits. What I don't know is if they added their support for the Ionic yet.

Throw a "Find my Ionic" party with people that you love and you trust. It should be a blast!

That’s a common and an important feature that I think they should have anyways.
Especially if it’s connected to the house wifi, we should be able to find our watch using the phone.
Fitbit developers, please do consider this.

If you have reminders to move set, it will vibrate at ten minutes before the hour during those hours to remind you to get steps. Hopefully you'll be able to hear the vibration.
If you have notifications turned on, you can send yourself a text message and the Ionic should also vibrate.
