Wondering if anyone can help. Today my ionic watch had my usual information on but I checked my mobile app and it showed I hadn't done any exercise. My Bluetooth was connecting then dropping out. I decided to delete and then set up device again. I've gone to account, set up device, ionic, set up, it shows searching, it then says found and connecting a tracker, but seems to be saying that for a long time? Any help would be great

Hey everyone, do yourselves a big favor. Demand (nicely, but firmly) a replacement Ionic. I suffered through MONTHS of BS trying to get/keep my new Ionic syncing. It would mostly fail no matter what supported device I attempted to sync with. All the factory resets / turning Bluetooth off and on / uninstalling and reinstalling apps / and all the other bandaids support will ask you to use will not fix the basic problem: they have sold some bad trackers. Dunno whether it was a bad batch, or a general design problem, but your problem will never go away unless you get a new tracker.
I can't tell you that your problem will go away forever with a replacement Ionic, because I haven't had my replacement long enough to confirm that. But I can tell you that, like KenCarol0588, my replacement tracker is working great, so far. Unfortunately, the old straps didn't want to stay attached very well, so now I've asked for and received replacements for those too.
In my experience, while Fitbit may have a poor track record on quality control, they do seem to do a good job of replacing faulty product, when you get through to the right person(s). Keep trying, but ask for (demand) a replacement. You paid $300 for the bloody thing. You deserve a tracker that works.
Good luck.
