Charger making sound

My Charger is emitting a high pitched sound whenever I charge it. I got it recently as a birthday gift and have only charged it twice because the sound bothers my ears. The sound is really annoying and only stops when I unplug the Ionic. Is there a way to make it stop so that so I can better enjoy this watch?

@Banana123 since your posting in the Ionic board, and not a board for one of the Fitbit Charge versions, I'm going to assume the charger your reffering to is the third party device you plug into the wall.

This buzz could mean one of several things.

- The wall unit is not able to handle the power the Ionic wants.

-The wall unit might be about to quit on you.

- You are young enough that you can still here the normal high pitch of the local oscillator in the digital power supply in the wall unit. If this is the case, then nothing is wrong.

Is the wall unit or the ionic getting exceptionally warm while charging?

My thought would be to try a different wall unit, like mane the one used to charge a phone.

If both wall unit give off a buzz, then you might want to contact Fitbit as @WendyB has advised.

My thought would be if the wall unit is simply getting slightly warm, there is no problem.

The ionic should not be getting warm, if it does, then unplug and contact fitbit.
