I would like to say a few days after my previous post there was a update on the watches software and I did fix my watch l only hope this has worked for all others having this problem.
Best Answermy fitbit won't even let me open any apps including settings. So there is no way to do a hard reset. Also the device has been charging for 2 weeks because I left it alone. I was able to turn the always on mode on though, so the quick guide works

This is my fifth Fit Bit. They last about 6 months then something goes wrong. Looks like this is it for my Ionic. I am forced to a screen I don't like and now it has stopped tracking my sleep.
I think it is time to change brand.
