Hi all!
I have been presented with a fitbit ionic watch and own a samsung s8 which I am in the process of upgrading to a oneplus 6T. Having read through some of the threads it appears there are some issues? Pls can someone help me with latest update on these issues. The phone review is great and real value for money. Appreciate any help/guidance. Cheers!

Best AnswerBTW, install the latest version of the OnePlus Switch app on both old and new phone. Makes copying old to new phone very easy.
I'm using an Ionic with a OP6T McLaren. OS 3.0 stopped sleep tracking 4 days ago. I've factory reset every day for the last 4 days, and it looks like sleep tracking finally started working again last night. My wife & daughter have T-Mobile OP6Ts, their Ionics have been fine with OS 3.0.

I am in the same situation. I have OnePlus 6t on Verizon. I got versa couple weeks back which was able to connect to my OP 6t phone, but had issue completing set up. So, I returned that one. Now I got the Ionic which is not even able to connect to OP 6t. I see only 2 phone models from OnePlus (OP one, OP 6) are listed as compatible devices. I hope FitBit gets to fix the issue with their app to work with OP 6t device soon. This is super annoying as many of us know that OP 6T has become a popular phone and FitBit as widely used wearable not supporting OP 6T.
Best AnswerFitbit Ionic does not connect well to 1+6t Mc Laren. Mobile keeps searching for fitbit and after several tries it syncs. Then after a few minutes it automatically disconnects.
Also, even after connection, the Fitbit will not give app notifications for Messages, Whatsapp, E-mail etc. So u get to use this expensive fitbit as just a very basic steps tracker.
Not at all Happy.
Both these devices, (mobile & fitbit) are costly so do not know which one to discard

Best AnswerI totally understand your frustrations. Yes, the 6t is a good phone BUT compatibility is not one of oneplus priorities. Very limited as to what smartwatch you can get. Have tried two and does not sync or has other problems! I think the only thing you can do is to dump oneplus!!
