Is there any way to repair or replace the screen on the Ionic, I have only had this watch for about 2-3 months and there is a visible crack from corner to corner that can be felt when rubbing my finger across.
for a product that was around $300.00 I hope its not just a parer weight now.

I'm on my third Ionic in less than a year and my husband on his second. I've taken the above advice and put a case over the screen hoping it will hold it together, in each case of the device failing the screen was literally falling out. Since I won't be under warranty I'm hoping this extends the useful life somewhat. It also has a lip that protects the screen from impact like a cell phone case. Unfortunately it makes the device appear larger on my wrist.
To the user mentioning everything is repairable, Fitbit does not repair the devices it just sends you a new one. To fix the cracked displays you need parts which I don't think are available, however at this point I have three intact screens from my broken devices that might be functional.
I'm also planning on replacing the device with a Garmin when it fails and if not replaced by FitBit.

Wow is the 50% off a new policy, my screen cracked after only a few months old and with light enough usage - I was offered 25% off a new Fitbit product but not any of the new models 😕 I only “upgraded” to the ionic because the backplate of my Charge HR had fallen off and Fitbit wouldn’t fix it, from what I can tell a bit of superglue probably would’ve done the job. I’ve only stayed with Fitbit for the community but my next move will probably be to Apple Watch, from the looks of it, better customer service - they usually charge through the nose for repairs but at least it’s not a case of “oh well you’ve cracked your screen, it’s unfixable, buy another one” 😕

Ionic with a tiny scratch/crack after 13 months of use. It's tiny now but I am afraid it will spread. Anyone have any luck with any type of sealant? I am a swimmer and now scared to take it into the pool.

I got an ionic last year from a friend in us. My son wore it for less than a month and there is a piece of the glass by the top edge, that are missing. He is a very careful young man and he didn’t handle it roughly. How can I get a new glass. ?
Best regards Pia

I've had my ionic only 6 days and today after coming back from my evening run I noticed it has a hairline crack from the "Fibit" logo all the way to the top. I had a Blaze before this and it had cracked after 3 months but the store would not offer me anything so I kept using it for another year then brought an IONIC thinking its got to be better quality but now this. Very very disappointed with Fitbit for not checking the quality of their products particularly as I see a high number of similar complaints in this forum. I will be taking the watch back to the store i purchased it from tomorrow to see if this time they will do anything about it.

My screen cracked as well. Not sure how. I spoke with CS also, but was only sent a code for 25% off on the FitBit online store only. Frankly, I could get a better price on Amazon with no extra discount based on the FitBit online pricing. Come on Moderator....create a satisfied Customer!

You can buy the part on eBay for $20 and get a specialist to replace the cracked one for you. I don’t know who does it, and for how much, but a cellphone repair shop might be a good place to start.
Mine is cracked, too, had the piece over 18 months now, and I’m looking into this.
Very disappointed to learn here that Fitbit does not support repairs, or even replacements at 1/2 price at any point during ownership.
Good luck!

Had mine since fathers day. I wore it for nothing other than walking, or other cardio. Noticed a crack in the screen. Contacted support. I was offered 40% off a versa lite!? If I wanted a versa lite then that is what I would have gotten. Offered 25% off a new Ionic.... insult to injury. They are not taking care of their customers how they need to be. I've seen way to many complaints and issues about cracked screens on these. My work phone which supposedly has the same type of glass as the Ionic has been put through hell! I drop it and sit on it and bang it up against stuff all the time (because it's a work phone). Not even a scratch after 2 years. Being a bigger screen it is more susceptible to becoming damaged yet it hasn't. I treat this Ionic like a infant and it cracks???? No. It is obviously a manufacturers defect and fitbit is going to lose more customers if this keeps happening without proper resolution.
