Data discrepancies after time change

On Friday, we travelled from the UK to St Lucia. My Ionic eventually synced with my phone and the time eventuality reset to local time. Everything seemed to be working as expected until I went in the shower. I placed the Ionic on the bedside cabinet and when I came out of the bathroom after approx. 20 minutes and went to put it back on, the step count had increased by approx. 2,300 steps. The mileage did not increase though.

Then today, it gave me extra steps (not sure how many) while I had taken it off and left it on the side this morning and then gave me another 3,500 extra when I had taken it off this evening.  Again, the mileage didn’t ncrease and doesn’t tie up with the number of steps shown.

Also, I tracked a workout while I did Aquasize this morning  - it said I’d done 2,400 steps, and that the duration was 1 hr 13 mins, so I figured it was ok. I didn’t synch until later this afternoon, and that’s when I noticed that the app didn’t give me my active hours for 11am, 12pm and 1pm (aquasize was 11am-12pm).  The Ionic has given me those hours and I got my 10 out of 10 notification, but the app only shows 7 out of 10.  When I checked the app, it said I had been stationary from 11.02 - 13.59. How can I be stationary yet have tracked a workout that recorded steps at the same time? There doesn’t seem to be any heart rate tracked for the duration of the exercise class, so I’m guessing that the active hours is based on number of steps and heart rate reading? I don’t get how it couldn’t read my heart rate as I worked darn hard in that class and my heart rate was definitely elevated!

I don’t recall having issues like this before when I changed time zones.

Well here I am nearly 20 hours after the clocks went back and my Ionic is still on summer time!!!! Apart from doing a factory reset, nothing has made my Ionic budge from showing the incorrect time.
