Deleting playlists from |onic using Mac

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hiya!

So the closest post i've found on this topic is with PC not mac and the info doesn't seem to transpose.

When i tried to put the music on my ionic there were a bunch of playlists of classical music that i a) didn't know that i had and b) can't find on my laptop.

If i'm honest i'm not a fan of classical, certainly not to work out to...

Any ideas of how i can delete this from showing up on my fitbit laptop menu where it's just lists cluttering up my screen making it harder to manage

Also is there a way to resize the fitbit laptop manage my music screen so you can see more than 3 lines at the same time?

Many thanks folks

Damo

Hey there @Icarus3000, it's nice to see you around the forums! Choose to delete individual playlists or all personal music stored on your watch. Use your computer to choose which playlists to delete or use the Fitbit app on your phone to delete all music stored on your watch without needing to connect to Wi-Fi. Note that you can add new playlists and delete existing ones at the same time.

Delete individual playlists

  1. Plug your watch into the charger.
  2. For Mac or Windows 7/8 PC, open Fitbit Connect on your computer > Manage My MusicNote that your watch and computer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  3. On your watch, open the Music app and then tap Transfer Music. Note that you may need to scroll down to see the transfer button.
  4. Wait a few moments for your watch to connect. After your watch connects, on your computer screen you’ll see the list of playlists downloaded to your watch.
  5. Click the checkbox next to the playlist(s) you want to delete. The update will begin immediately.

Delete all Music

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard on your phone, tap the Account icon > your device image.
  2. Tap Media Personal Music.
  3. Tap Remove All Personal Music

In regards to your last question, I'd like you to please send me a screen shot of where you're looking at so I can provide you with the correct answer.

Looking forward to your response!
