Difficulties with Ionic and some features

I received a Fitbit Ionic for Christmas and so far, with the exception of tracking sleep and activity, it does little else. I've downloaded Spotify, but it says it's not linked to my premium account (it is), it won't display SMS messages (just tells me I have a new message) and I can't get it to accept any credit cards for Fitbit pay. It's very frustrating.

@jm4xs Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your Ionic. I would like you to try the following to install the Spotify app in your watch:

- Confirm that you've done this procedure to set Spotify correctly

- Confirm you have a Spotify Premium account

- Are you receiving any message on your app?

Regarding your notifications, please do the following:

  1. Open your "Messages" app on your Android device.

  2. Go to "Settings."

  3. Click on "Notifications."

  4. Make sure there is a checkmark next to "Preview Message"

Since you mentioned that you're unable to add cards to your Ionic, please make sure you're doing this procedure to add your cards. Also, double check that you have a supported bank

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Thanks very much, looks like messaging is now working! Spotify still isn't. Yes I do have a premium account and I see what songs are playing ON my Fitbit (listening via phone), but I can't control by my Fitbit.

Thanks again.
