Frustrated lately with the running mode all of the sudden exiting from a current connection/run in process with the GPS feature enabled and going back to the main screen. As a result, the run data is lost. This has probably occurred about 5 times in the last couple of months. This is getting real irritating. Was wondering if there is a solution or anyone else is having similar problems.

@ALePrell Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with Ionic's Run mode crashing.
Currently, Fitbit is looking over this as they have received some feedback about it. Thanks for your report. I will share updates from the team when I hear them.
In the meantime, I recommend manually logging your activity so you can still receive the credit from it.

Hi I am experiencing the same problem. My ionic, in run mode, sporadically exits and goes back to the default clock face. The run is logged but it’s frustrating as I have to start a fresh run, mid way on my route. Also the distance I run before discovering run mode has quit is not logged, obviously. So not good. Have Fitbit managed to look into this and come up with a solution?

This is two years old and I'm having the same problem. Is there a resolution? Doesn't matter which exercise mode I'm using (workout, run, bike, yoga, etc.), it does it on all of them.
